Locality:New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:An excellent cluster of sparkling purple amethyst quartz crystals (uncommon in NJ) up to 3 mm forming a cavity lined with brown stilbite crystals up to 3 mm. The sides show quartz-filled casts after anhydrite crystals. One bottom is sawn flat.
